What 'Verified' means here
Skyline Properties has two trust signals: the account type (owner vs. agent) and the Verified Agent badge. Here's exactly what each one does and doesn't guarantee.
Owner accounts
Anyone can create a free owner account and list up to two active properties — this is meant for individuals renting or selling their own home or land. Owner listings are not independently verified before going live; we rely on the reporting system and manual review to catch bad actors.
Agent accounts
Agent accounts are for people or businesses managing multiple properties. Upgrading from an owner account to an agent account requires submitting an application (business name, phone, and a short pitch) that a Skyline Properties admin reviews manually before approving. Approval is what grants the unlimited listing cap and the public agent profile page.
The "Verified Agent" badge
The badge is granted automatically the moment an agent application is approved — it means an admin has reviewed the account and the information submitted with the application, not that every individual listing has been physically inspected. Treat it as a meaningfully higher trust signal than an unverified account, not as a guarantee that a specific property or price is legitimate. Listing review and removal
Every listing page has a "Report this listing" option. Reports are reviewed by our team, and listings found to be fraudulent, duplicated, already rented/sold and left up, or otherwise misleading are removed. Repeated violations result in the account being restricted.
